Sunday, February 14th, 2010Printing Passwords
Saturday, January 30th, 2010Every so often you may want to generate and print out a password, for example when setting up an account for someone. SafePasswd.com now will print out passwords a bit more friendly than in the past (it can still use some more beautification). The result is a cleaner printout that will use less ink and be more readable. That’s a win for everyone.

New Design
Sunday, August 30th, 2009A new design launched this evening. Hoping the site will be a bit more appealing and even easier to use.
It’s also a little more cutting edge taking advantage of the latest web development goodies jQuery and HTML5 to perform better.
It’s officially a beta for the next week or so. Send some feedback with your thoughts.
Secure Safe Passwords
Sunday, April 15th, 2007Starting yesterday all passwords suggested on SafePasswd.com are sent over https. For those who don’t know this means that the site is encrypted to prevent anyone from being able to sniff the passwords being suggested. Look for the little lock on your browser.
If you are using SafePasswd with Firefox you’ll see the URL bar turn yellow and a lock on the right side. IE 7 will show a lock on the right side of the URL bar. IE 6 will show it in the lower right side of the window.
Welcome to the SafePasswd.com Blog

Most things discussed here will be oriented at basic users. On occasion there will be some more technical content (just for fun
).
