Release Update

Monday, September 7th, 2009

We’re now a week into SafePasswd.com 2.0 and thought I’d mention some of the changes in response to feedback and suggestions:

  • Performance Improvements – Still not done optimizing, but we’re getting closer. Lots of performance were made on the backend and frontend to ensure better response time.
  • Custom Password Lengths – While many users prefer the bar based UI for selecting password length, some want exact numbers. There’s now a link below to make that possible. This also allows you to select lengths less than 10 characters (though 10 or more is recommended).
  • Password Detail Breakdown – For longer passwords it’s hard to see how the password breaks down into words and numbers for easier memorization. It’s now colorized to make it easier than ever.

There’s dozens of other tiny little bug fixes and enhancements there as well. As always comments and suggestions are welcome.
